PROVEN SERVICE,
STRONG SCHOOLS
WHY I AM RUNNING FOR REELECTION
I currently serve on the Chelsea School Board and have done so since first elected in 2020. During my time, I have held several positions, including President and Vice President of the board. I have become deeply familiar with the operations of the district and how to facilitate meaningful change.
While I am proud of what I have been able to accomplish during my first term, I believe there is much more that can be done — and I am in the best position to see that it happens. My experience over these last six years gives me the insight needed to make changes happen.

ABOUT ME
I grew up in Macon, GA, where I lived with my parents and brother. I was raised in a family that valued education, and I witnessed the challenges my mother faced as a public school teacher for 30 years. After graduating from high school, I earned a bachelor's degree in Geography from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. I served in the Army for six years as an Armor officer, including three overseas deployments — once to Kosovo and twice to Iraq.
Since leaving active duty, I have held various product management and marketing roles within the mining and construction industry. I currently run my own small business.
I have been married to my lovely wife, Lacey, for over 20 years. We live in Sylvan Township with our three boys (ages 16, 14, and 9). All of our sons attend Chelsea schools.
ISSUES & POLITICAL CONCERNS
A Proven Record. A Clear Vision.
QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL
All the children in our community deserve to have access to a sound education that provides them with the foundation they will need as they head out into the world. As a school board member, I will work to ensure that we are setting the right goals and direction for the district and that the district is meeting those commitments.

FISCAL STEWARDSHIP
Taxpayers entrust the school board to use their funding wisely. I have helped pass budgets that maintain a healthy fund balance, supported contracts that invest in our teachers and staff, and oversaw the use of construction bond funds to make major improvements in district facilities. I will continue to be a careful steward of every taxpayer dollar.
PROVIDING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Safety must be the #1 priority of the district. We cannot expect to succeed in our educational mission without a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff. I have supported the hiring of a Safety and Security Director, additional counselors, and mental health professionals, along with physical improvements including new cameras and secure entrances. I will continue working to keep our schools safe against ever-changing threats.
